Muhammad Jalal Hussain was born on 17 January, 2003 at the dawn of the 21st century in Brownsville, TX on the border with Mexico. His parents both hail from Pakistan, his father from Lahore and his mother from Gujrat. He is the eldest of four children, and the family reside on a sprawling estate on the banks of a former channel of the Rio Grande.

His father, Dr Kazim Hussain, is the chairman of Emergency Medicine at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. He is also a life member of APPNA (Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America) and is currently serving as a member of its advisory council. He is the chief operating officer and general manager of Exceptional Health Care.

His mother, Sadia Haleema, is a housewife who devotes her time to raising the younger children of the family. The Hussain family are well-known and respected in the town of Brownsville and they take part in many initiatives to assist the needy and indigent population of this border town via the charitable Lone Star Citizens Foundation.
A former headboy of Hudson Elementary School, Jalal is currently a ninth grader at the Science Academy of South Texas. Jalal has a keen interest in history, philosophy, classics, Latin and Ancient Greek, and aspires to be a leading diplomat in the international arena. His interest in philosophy has allowed him a greater insight into human nature and has encouraged a passion for research and writing on a variety of subjects.
